A global, dynamic and entrepreneurial-minded team is currently hiring for a Head of Treasury Operations. The role will be key for developing and managing Treasury operations in different regions. The role reports directly to the Group Treasurer.
Job
Your role and responsibilities
· Oversee the Group’s cash position and liquidity profile
· Manage the Group’s short term investments and short-term funding needs
· Responsible for the Group’s cash position monitoring, cash forecast and cash reconciliation
· Day-to-day operation of the Group’s external and internal funding structure
· Lead global treasury and cash management operations and develop strategies to maximize efficiencies, safeguard assets, and minimize costs
· Implementation of Key Performance metrics to drive a consistent, rigorous and on-going assessment of the Treasury operational performance
· Global responsibility for Treasury reporting tools, automation, system implementation and digitalization
· Manage funding costs and interest income, lead the internal financing costs allocation and cost of capital communication
· Manage a team of Treasury Operations professionals in Geneva and abroad in collaboration with other finance functions (dotted-line reporting with finance functions abroad)
· Act as key internal adviser to internal stakeholders, collaborate with traders, operations, credit, accounting, tax, legal, trade finance, middle office, and finance middle office teams to deliver best in class treasury and cash management operations
Profile
Your profile and qualifications
· Minimum of 7 years working experience in Corporate Treasury Operations / Support areas
· At least 3 years of experience in a leadership position responsible for team development and strategic change initiatives
· Previous experience in the energy trading, utility, banking or similar industry required
· Ability to make swift and prudent decisions that have direct consequences for investment effectiveness and cash operations
· Strong technical skills to handle day-to-day operations of treasury activities
· Motivated personality with grit to successfully drive organisational change
· Ability to work under pressure and consistently deliver results in a dynamic environment
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Team player
