Our client, a leading global professional services firm, is looking for a Manager in Financial Services Transfer Pricing to join their Zurich office. This role offers the chance to advise international banks, asset managers, insurance companies, and other financial institutions on complex transfer pricing matters. With a 100% workload and start date upon agreement, this position is ideal for professionals who want to deepen their expertise in international tax and contribute to innovative projects in the financial services sector.
Job
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Manage diverse transfer pricing assignments, including international restructurings, the design of new TP frameworks, and post-M&A integration topics.
- Analysis & Compliance: Assess business models, ensure alignment of value creation with profit allocation, and lead global compliance projects in line with OECD and local guidelines.
- Operational Transfer Pricing: Advise clients on implementation of effective TP processes and frameworks to support their day-to-day operations.
- Dispute Resolution: Assist multinational financial services clients in intergovernmental negotiations and dispute resolution related to transfer pricing matters.
- Team Development: Guide junior professionals in international projects and coordinate tax-related input from multiple jurisdictions.
Profile
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Law, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in transfer pricing for financial services, ideally gained in a Big Four or leading consulting firm.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of OECD guidelines, BEPS 2.0, and international TP regulations specific to financial services.
- Experience with tax dispute resolution mechanisms (MAPs, APAs, etc.) is highly desirable.
Languages & Communication:
- Fluency in English is required; German and/or French are considered a strong asset.
- Client-oriented approach with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Leadership Qualities:
- Ability to mentor and motivate junior colleagues.
- Skilled in managing complex, cross-border projects with multiple stakeholders.
