The CFO plays a pivotal role in leading the financial strategy, governance, and risk management of the multinational group. The CFO oversees all aspects of group finance, including the subsidiaries abroad, ensuring alignment with global objectives while maintaining compliance with local regulations. This executive serve as a strategic business partner to the CEO and the Board, driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.
Job
Strategic Leadership
- Define and implement the group’s global financial strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Partner with the CEO and executive team in evaluating growth opportunities, M&A, and international expansion.
- Provide clear financial insights to support decision-making at Board and management levels.
Group Financial Management
- Lead consolidation and reporting of all group entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP standards.
- Oversee cash flow management, treasury, and working capital optimization across all subsidiaries.
- Manage tax strategy, including cross-border taxation, transfer pricing, and regulatory compliance.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure robust internal controls, risk management frameworks, and compliance with international financial regulations.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and financial institutions to maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Implement best practices in corporate governance and financial reporting.
Operational Excellence
- Lead finance teams at both group and subsidiary levels, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Deploy digital finance tools and ERP systems to enhance reporting, forecasting, and efficiency.
- Support business units with financial planning, budgeting, and performance management.
Profile
Education & Certification
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Professional qualifications (CPA, CFA, ACCA, or equivalent) highly desirable.
Professional Experience
- Proven track record as CFO, Group Finance Director, or equivalent within a multinational environment.
- Strong expertise in international accounting standards (IFRS), treasury, and taxation.
- Experience managing complex legal entities across multiple jurisdictions.
- Background in mergers & acquisitions and capital markets transactions is a plus.
Technical & Leadership Skills
- Advanced knowledge of financial reporting, consolidation, and risk management.
- Strong command of treasury operations, including liquidity, FX, and hedging strategies.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and digital finance transformation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluency in English; German and/or French are strong assets.
